How to play Jacks Or Better…
Jacks Or Better starts when a player places his bet. The bet is counted in virtual units of game currency. Their face value can be from 0.01 to 100 credits. It is adjusted in the menu with the minus and plus buttons. The bet can be from 1 to 5 coins.

There are two more buttons on the control interface that can change the bet:

Bet One — increase the bet by one.
Bet Max — set the maximum bet.
The bet can be also selected in the table on the left side of the interface. It also lists the payouts in coins for each combination, with taking into account the bet that you made. When the bet is placed, you can begin to deal out the cards by clicking on the Deal button.

From the start, a player gets 5 cards. Each of them has the Hold button. Clicking on this button allows you to hold on to the cards of your choosing. You should hold on to those cards that are likely to be able to create a winning combination. Then click the Draw button. The cards will be dealt out once again. The cards that you chose to discard will be replaced with new ones. If winning combinations are created, the user receives payouts with the corresponding multipliers.

Risk-game…
After winning, you get an opportunity to launch a risk-game. New buttons will appear at the bottom of the interface:

double — double the total win
double half — double half of the win
collect — take a win
Then 5 cards will appear on the screen. One of them is placed facing up. You must then choose one of the 4 cards lying face down. If the card that you unveil is ranked higher than the original one, your bet will be doubled and you’ll be able to continue playing the risk-game on the same terms.

Symbols and winnings…
Jacks Or Better has 9 remunerated combinations. The highest paid combination is the Royal Flush. Depending on the bet that you’ve made, it brings winnings of 250, 500, 750, 1000, or 4000. A Straight Flush brings you 10, 100, 150, 200, or 250. Payouts for 4 identical cards are 25, 50, 75, 100, and 125. A Full House brings wins of 9, 18, 27, 36, and 45.

How to win in Jacks Or Better…
There are several tips for those who would like to win in Jacks Or Better more often. If you have a single good card and the rest of the cards are of little value with nothing to connect them, then you should only hold onto the good card and change the rest. If you’ve been dealt out a queen and a king of the same suit, you should hold onto them and the rest of the cards should be changed. The same goes for jacks and tens of the same suit. If you have any three cards with a sequential rank, you should keep them and change the rest of the cards. This version of Playtech video poker is very convenient because it automatically lets you to hold on to the cards that are likely to win. This allows you to avoid missing a single paid combination.
